Carrot Cake Smoothie

This is one of my favorite carrot-based smoothies--kind of like having dessert for breakfast, but with all nutritious ingredients! Whenever I can recreate a dessert in smoothie form, I do! I even snuck in some turmeric for some anti-inflammatory action--and great color.

Carrot Cake Smoothie

Serves 1

  • 1/2 cup carrot juice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cashew or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen peaches
  • 1/3 frozen banana
  • 2 medjool dates
  • 1 Tbsp unsalted almond butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric


Simply combine all ingredients in a blender. Enjoy!
